| Hi! My name is Casey!! My birthdate is 12/24/09 so I am still just a baby. Foster mom calls me a drama queen! I don't think she means it as a compliment. So how did a cute guy like me end up in rescue? It's quite a story, let me tell you. I was purchased from a pet store by a family that had children. They also had a couple of resident cats. Since I am a young and high-energy guy I need lots of playtime. Those cats were just the thing to get me going. Well, it got me going alright - straight to rescue!! I think my mom overreacted a bit when she took me to the local vet and told them to just put me to sleep 'cause I mauled the cats!! Isn't that what puppies are supposed to do? Thankfully the staff at the vet clinic understood and the next thing I knew I was in a new home with bigger dogs that look just like me! How cool is that?! Oh, and there are two of those cat-things here too. Foster mom calls them "training cats" since they teach delinquents like me that cats are to be respected. Sometimes I still like to sneak up on them when they aren't watching! Foster mom tells me I am learning to be a very good keesie boy. I always go to the door when I need outside to potty and I don't chew on any of her stuff - just my toys. I have a whole basket full of toys to pick from and that really helps. I am still crated when no one is at home and I sleep in a crate in the bedroom at night. Sometimes when we take a nap I get to sleep loose in the room!
