Hi, my name is Mia!
I am a very happy and sweet girl
that's about 1.5 years old. Since I was a stray and we don't know
my real birthday, we talked it over and decided to use September 3,
2004. That way my birthday will be on a holiday weekend lots of
times and we can celebrate for days!
Since getting to this thing
called rescue, I have kept foster mom and dad in stitches. You
see, I'm a very sprightly girl and can run, jump and hop forwards and
backwards and sideways. And when you least expect it, I leap into
your lap to give you lots of wet, keesie kisses. I have full
house privileges since I know to go outside to potty and I don't get
into anything. I stay in a crate when no one is home, but that's
OK since I'm usually ready for a nap. At night I sleep loose in
the bedroom, but usually end up in my open crate since it's nice and
cozy in there. Other times I curl up in the middle of the bed
with some of the other dogs.
I get along famously with all of
the other doggies here. There's another little girl my age and
we've worked it out to play really great together. I find the two
kitties very interesting, but I'd rather play with the doggies or
snuggle with people than chase those silly things.
I'm up-to-date on all of my
vaccines, heartworm negative, and freshly spayed! I am
house-trained and crate-trained and very well socialized. Foster
mom says I could do with some training so I need someone to adopt me
soon and teach me some obedience. I'm really smart, learn fast,
and will do anything for a cookie! If you want a happy girl that
