| Hi, I'm Midnight! Midnight is an alpha female that does not like small dogs and cats. She does fine with other dogs as they establish their pack rank. She is, however, the “play police” and if you have other young dogs that like to wrestle hard, this calls her to “speak up.” She likes to “talk,” which can be problematic if there is already an alpha in the pack. As you can imagine by now, life in Rescue is very stressful for Midnight. Midnight would do best in a home where she is the only dog or can peacefully reign as the alpha. If there is another dog, it cannot be a small dog. NO cats. Middle to high school age children would be ideal, but not necessary. Midnight bonds quickly and loves her people. She follows you and sits or lies at your feet. If you call her up on the couch to sit with you, she lays her head in lap and practically “hugs” you with her front paws. As I’m sitting here typing this, she is sitting under the table by my feet. I called her up into my lap to pet, and she leaned into me with her body and laid her head on my chest. All the while looking into my eyes with a pleading “why is this happening and what comes next” look on her sweet face. She desperately needs someone to love. Midnight is very reliably housebroken. She’ll crate easily, but she’d rather be with you. She is in excellent health and has had regular medical care her entire life. She is a very active and playful girl at 9 years of age. She is an alarm kees. She loves to hug.
