| Hi, My name is Petey! I am a nine year old keeshond that was turned into the shelter when my owner died. As you can see my coat is very dark and in much better shape with the good food I'm getting. I walk well on a leash and learn very quickly. I'm a little nervous from my recent experiences, but with love and attention that will pass. I love everyone! I LOVE kids and ignore cats. Since I do jump up at times, really small children might be scared. I have a bilateral perineal hernia - whatever that means. All I know is my foster mom says I need bulking fiber in my diet ( I like pumpkin & canned Solid gold) so that it is easier for me to potty. I am housebroken, give paw and sit. I get along with other dogs - I am pretty submissive. My coat is shortish and I love to be brushed. I am up to date on my shots, HW negative and on monthly heartworm preventative. Foster mom says I am a perfect boy and so sweet. Is there room in your home for a guy like me? Petey is being fostered in southern New Hampshire.
