Shady

My one year birthday will be on Christmas day! I hope I get something really extra-special - maybe a new family! That would be so cool. I am a smaller boy and weigh about 30 lbs. I'm housebroken and crate-trained so foster mom lets me have lots of freedom. She also tells me I am a very sweet boy and lets me sit in her lap to watch TV in the evening. She calls it our quality time. She also told me it wasn't my fault that I lost my first home, but it still makes me feel bad when I think about it. Fortunately, I keep really busy here and don't have time to dwell on it. There is another young keesie here that I love to play with and a couple of cats that are fun to watch and think about tormenting. We are not allowed to do that though. Darn!!

Foster mom told me to be sure and tell you that I would like a family that has time to give me plenty of exercise and hopefully has a fenced back yard. She keeps telling me "a tired dog is a good dog," whatever that's supposed to mean. She says the strangest things sometimes. Oh, and I took a few obedience classes too. Those were really fun and I'd like to do some more. Please get in touch soon if you have space for me in your heart and your lap.
