| Hi, My name is Will!
I've had a very
eventful couple of months. First I was what they called a
"stray" dog. That was kind of scary sometimes. Then I went
to a shelter for several weeks until they figured out that I was a
keeshond and not some silly Chow Chow. Can you imagine how
embarrassing that was? Some rescue people finally clued them in
and they contacted Keeshond Lovers United. I hitched a ride up to
Topeka and spent 10 days at a place they referred to as a
"rescue-friendly vet" for my quarantine period. Finally, I got to
my foster home and met the other 6 doggies there. It was really
cool!! They all liked me and we played and played and
played. I had lots of good food and treats, but the best part was
when foster mom invited me up on the bed with her for the night.
There were already a couple doggies up there, but they made room for ME!
Well, as you can imagine, I had
become a little leery of what might be going to happen next.
Foster mom and dad understood and they coaxed me into things until I
was comfortable. You should have seem foster mom's eyes light up
when I crawled up into her lap one morning. We all knew progress
had been made.
My pictures you see here were
taken in my new home with my furever mom and dad and my 4-legged
siblings, Sheba and Frosty. They were all so happy to meet me and
did everything to make me comfortable. I'm a really lucky guy to
have such a great new family. You see, foster mom got me and
their application on almost the same day and she's a firm believer in
all things happening for a reason.
